We kicked off the season in Richmond where the young men of Rock of Ages Church showed great heart. Their team of seven not only raised funds for The Good Samaritan program, but also invited friends to come and learn more about the Bible Society. They truly embodied the heart of Bike for Bibles. Thanks guys!
The Race. For Life. in North Vancouver attracted a great team of walkers as well as cyclists, who put their soles and souls to work for the cause. They enjoyed the amazing beauty of the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, learned about our priceless resource – water – and even harvested some luscious Salmon berries in the process.
A spirit of diversity characterized the Port Coquitlam ride, thanks to the International Student Ministries of Canada team, anchored by Bert Kamphuis. They gathered young riders from all over the globe to enjoy the diversity of natural habitats along the Traboulay PoCo Trail. As one rider put it, “Where else can you enjoy meadow, marshland, riverfront, and old growth forest all in a 25km ride?”
