We cannot tell what tomorrow brings, but we can be sure that God is ahead of us. This is what we are holding on as our thoughts and prayers go to one of our cyclists at the Calgary Stampede Ride.
One of the cyclists sustained life-threatening injuries in a road accident following the Calgary Stampede Ride on June 29. Reports said that the rider left the ride early and was on his way back to the starting location when he was hit by a vehicle. He was rushed to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary where he is now in stable – but still critical – condition. (Watch news here.)
Please pray for his quick and complete recovery. Also pray for his family – for strength, comfort and assurance of God’s presence.
There are 10 more rides to go and we would appreciate your prayers for the safety of our cyclists and members of the road support.
