Bike for Bibles (B4B) is an annual event that brings cycling enthusiasts of all ages and walks of life together for a time of fellowship on the road – with one purpose in mind – to help raise funds for Bible distribution and translation projects of the Canadian Bible Society.
This year, Bike for Bibles will raise funds for Bible distribution programs in Canada.
About this ride
Some people may have the heart, energy and enthusiasm to participate in Bike for Bibles, but unable to join our rides this year. Perhaps you don’t ride, don’t own a bicycle, or maybe you just can’t make it to the event. No worries! There is a ride for you!
The Virtual Rider category is now available so anyone can be involved. You can be creative and flexible with your Virtual Rider status – do something special on the day of the ride. Some examples:
- Ride wherever you are. One suggestion: The Great Trail (Trans-Canada Trail) which is now 100% connected across Canada! See thegreattrail.ca for more information.
- Ride for 30 minutes on a stationary bicycle. But we know you can do better than that! Challenge yourself – for good health and for the Bible work! – and let your friends know about it.
- Organize a tea party with your friends. Be creative with your theme (for example: a cycling theme).
Take pictures – selfie or group pic – of your special virtual ride event, and post them on our Facebook page!
